Oilgear at Metal-Expo’16 in Moscow – 8/11 November, 2016
Oilgear has participated to the 22nd Metal-Expo International Industrial Exhibition held in Moscow from 8 to 11 November 2016.
The Metal-Expo is the most important exhibition in Russia for the steel industry. 530 companies from 32 countries participated in the event. The exhibition was a general success with 27,000 visitors. This is an annual exhibition Oilgear has attended for several years.
Oilgear made positive contact with our existing customers as well as many potential customers. The exhibit has helped solidify our future business development in Russia.
Our visitors were particularly interested in our expertise in supplying turnkey electro-hydraulic systems for forging and extrusion applications. Additionally, we spoke with interested in customers about our patented Transfer Barrier pumps which are already installed in several plants in Russia.
It was confirmed by our customers that our liquid gas Transfer Barrier installed early this year in Siberia is operating optimally.

egarding forging applications, our visitors were also highly interested in our “Standard low cost solution for conversion of water driven presses in oil.” This is a unique proposal by Oilgear which gives the ability to refurbish a water driven press in oil with a minimum investment.
